Development of a system for managing the lifecycle of technical reports for sample inspections in a manufacturing environment prior to mass production. The system supports the creation, updating, searching, and version control of inspection reports, including management of associated documents (such as CAD drawings and XML files), report state handling, history tracking, and multi-language support.

Key Activities:

  • Analyzing existing codebase and application while providing a more optimized and modernized solution with the goal of maintaining original functionality
  • Developing a new system for monitoring the process of measurement, testing, and approval of parts prior to the mass production based on the deprecated version of the software
  • Providing an easily maintainable and extensible codebase that follows a clean architecture and more modern design patterns
  • Testing, incident remediation and improvements after feedback from the business to ensure best user experience
  • Collaboration and alignment with a team of developers from Portugal and Switzerland

Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a EU member state attracting investments in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector. Centers have been opened where high-tech products are developed, and services are outsourced by leading companies from all over the world. Bulgaria has many years of experience in the electronics and ICT sector. In the 80s of the XX century Bulgaria produced 40% of the computers used in the countries of the Eastern Bloc, which at that time ranked the country third in the world in the production and use of electronic devices per capita, with a total output of several billion dollars per year.

The fast pace of development of the sector in the country nowadays makes Bulgaria a technological centre of the Balkans. Export sales in the ICT sector are measured in billions of euros and have grown over the years. The sector employs approximately 130 000 people. Every year the number of the newly hired employees is about 3500 and it is expected that this number will increase.

The sector relies on the following to provide specialists :

  • nearly 220 high schools and 15 universities offering specialties in the field of ICT, along with additional language training;
  • the number of students enrolled in ICT majors has doubled in 10 years, reaching 12000 students, with approximately 3,500 students graduating each year;
  • third place in Europe in terms of certified ICT professionals.

Varna image

Varna, the sea capital of Bulgaria and a famous resort centre in Europe, is the third largest city in the country, located on the Black Sea, with approximately 470 000 people, living within the district. The city's connection to the rest of the world is done through the available transport corridors, highways, port and airport, which ensures reaching the city from anywhere in Europe and the world.

There are 6 universities in the city of Varna - the University of Economics, the Technical University, the Medical University, the Higher Naval School, the Varna Free University, Varna University of Management and the Technical College, with total number of approximately 30 000 students. All universities have specialties in the field of ICT, training over 2500 students.
